The Hoboken House Tour has a distinguished reputation as
having been selected as one of the five "Grand Tours" in the Northeast by This Old House magazine, as well as by
having homes from past tours featured in magazines, such as Better Homes & Garden, New Jersey Monthly, and the Palisades
Magazine. Every
year there is a new crop of amazing homes that are sure to surprise and delight even the most devoted tour goers. On Sunday,
October 25th from 10 am to 4 pm, a number of generous homeowners will open their doors to visitors as a benefit for
the Hoboken Historical Museum. Tour goers will be treated to an array of domestic retreats, from Victorian brownstones to
contemporary condos, from traditional to modern decor, plus a few truly unique spaces that you wouldn't likely find anywhere
else. While the
homes selected each year change, they continue to reflect Hoboken's rich architectural history, as well as some of the hottest
new properties in Hoboken. The tour is self-guided and typically takes two hours to visit all the homes, which can be seen
in any order at any time throughout the tour hours, which are from 10 am to 4 pm. So it's easy to make a day of this by enjoying
brunch or lunch whenever you'd like.
